Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development sponsors ICANN Meeting in Costa Rica

March 11-16, 2012 San José (Costa Rica) will host the 43rd International Public ICANN Meeting. The event is aimed at representatives of companies and organizations whose activities are somehow connected with the management of Internet address space. About 1000 specialists in the field of Internet technologies will visit the upcoming Meeting.  

The main topic of the event in San Jose is ICANN New gTLD program – the new rules for the implementation of top-level domains. Despite the fact that the application period for new gTLDs has already been launched, the program requires some modifications and refinements – all these details will be discussed at the ICANN Meeting.

Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development is a sponsor of ICANN 43. At the event the Foundation will present it's major project – the initiative for the introduction of .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА top-level domains for Russian capital.  

At the Meeting, the experts of the Foundation will hold series of negotiations with foreign partners on development and promotion of Moscow domains.
